A warm welcome to you!
Hello!
What could be nicer in the cold season than climbing a summit step by step with your skins under your skis and then making tracks in the snow in glistening fresh snow or firn.
Whether in small groups, in pairs or alone, you can ski or ski mountaineering with me as a private mountain guide. I am also a state-certified ski instructor and can give you helpful tips on the descent.
My home, the Pitztal, is part of the Ötztal Alps, the largest mass elevation in the Eastern Alps above 3,000 m above sea level.
There are 573 mountains over 3,000 m above sea level in the province of Tyrol, 226 of which are in the Ötztal Alps. For me, this is the perfect terrain for beginners to advanced ski tourers. We use the Pitztal Glacier cable car to get to the high alpine terrain more easily, which shortens the ascent time and gives us longer descents down to the valley.
Of course there is also the possibility to start ski tours from the individual villages in the valley.
Ski touring season in the Pitztal from November to May.
